Yep, drugstore syringes for pistons, you can mix and match sizes to vary pressures and travel. This was not meant to be permanent so the lines are just hot glued on.

I can visualize one small stainless line going to a rudder control piston that is countered with a spring.

Most motorcycle front brakes use a master and slave cylinder of about these same diameters. This could be as trouble free as those brake systems.

Pneumatics might be an even cleaner solution but I know even less about that. There has to be something better than present rudder systems. Even the new and improved ones are lacking.

I am paddling mostly rudderless kayaks and will not be doing any more with this unless a manufacturer wants to come up with some prototype bucks. Feel free to tinker with the ideas.
