: Where is a good place in the US or Canada to buy large sheets of 1.5mm
: veneer,
: Okume or Mahogany, etc. Also, 1.5mm plywood ( BSS 1088 or equiv.) if veneer
: is not available in this size.

I've bought veneer from CertainlyWood.com, but don't know how large of sheets they have. They do have select species in 1/16" veneers (I've used maple, mahogany (probably Honduran or Phillipine), and ash veneers from them).

I think Noah's Marine has good prices on okoume plywood. Also consider BS 6566 which has A-B faces instead of AA-A...a lot better value; still good looking.
