I have the teeter mechanism ready for my footpump. I expect to be setup for a test sometime this week. I occurred to me that this might be a good steering control for a rudder too. You could make the action stiff enough to hold the rudder in position until you deliberately change it.

Anyway, I'm pleased with the way it's turned out. It's amazing how much time goes into something like this. It's Black Walnut. Cutting the tenon was challenging because it's about 4" long... should be plenty solid though. Everything is epoxied. I'll probably glass it to help hold it together when I (inevitably) drop it.
