First let me say that you should probably be able to ask the questions of the fourm, any number of us will attempt to answer your questions. If you would perfer to talk in person to someone, then the folks at pygmy are really good about helping you over the phone, or if you could go to a meet at teh beach there will be plenty of people there who will be willing to talk about their boats. (just don't keep them from the water for too long)

Second, the plans make complete sence on building the boat, but only if you already understand what they are talking about. When I was doing my first boat, it felt like I was spending more time reading the distructions than actually building. Larry said that he thought that it had been translated from braille by the guide dog.
