Slow but steady, the Cirrus deck is receiveing a few new strips of fir every day or two. Reasoning behind the wood choice was because I scored on a bunch of 1/4"X6" fir boards that were very old but never used from the Re-Store for $40. The strips were the easiest I've ever cut (only 1/4" thick). The strips are alternating 3/4" wide and 1/4" wide strips and assembled using Jim Kozel's strip then cut out later method. It's going rather well, thanks to the help of hot-glue, tie-down straps, and masking tape (lots of masking tape).

Kept this deck design simple, other than I'll add a couple of narrow strips of Padauk near the sheer. Should look good. We'll see.
