I experimented around with many different types . I found the more rigid sizzors worked best ( old style Cast office sizzors ). Then you want to roughen up the cutting surface on a sanding wheel. Do a search on the web. If I remember correctly some one has a how to sharpen for kevlar article out there somewhere. I cut a full boats worth of balistic kevlar with one sharpening once I got one that worked.
