Hi Lee:
I have flush hatch lids aka Leidy's lids on my Coho. Was in a big swimming pool the other day, trying all kinds of new stuff, goofing off, and as I drug my butt over the hatch while scooting forward from a rear hop-on, I must have put too much pressure, and dislodged the hatch somehow. Far better to do it then than in big water. Is cowboying a conventional rescue? I have no idea. Paddle float rescues work fine for me :-)) Nothing like a nice pool to work out some kinks.

: Mark, what kind of rear hatch do you have that it can be dislodged in a
: conventional rescue?
