First off, thanks Shawn for your kind words.

Now that PictureStage is going away, I decided to do a little research into
finding a replacement. So, I spent the better part of today looking at
alternatives. Being retired, it isn't hard finding time for such meaningful
endeavors. (Thanks Rehd for your PictureStage instructions).

1. PhotoIsland - Billed as a replacemnt for PictureStage, I found it similar
in use but with one exception. I was unable to get it to display on the BBS
when set up as a PIC. With my ledgendary impatience, just ask my wife, I decided
to move on to try other, less problematic solutions. My main complaint about
PictureStage was the small format. I suppose that falls under the "Beggers
can't be choosers category".

2. Yahoo Briefcase - Inspired by Robert Prudens favorable endorsement,
I signed into Yahoo Briefcase and uploaded a few pics. It seems fairly easy
to use and has the added plus of displaying multiple pics. However, the pics
displayed as small as those in PictureStage. It also seemed to allow access
other folders than the ones desired. To that end, I really enjoyed the nudes
in one of Roberts folders. Just kidding ! Most likely, I didn't take the time
to figure out the available management tools to control unlimited access.

3. MSN Groups - After seeing the larger pics, and overall pleasing layout of
Steve's Phillips beautiful P2K in MSN Groups, I knew I had to give it a go.
Also, as a dummy paying $20.00 per month for MSN Explorer, I felt it was time
to get at least some of my moneys worth out of Bill Gates. I find it easy to
use, like the comments section, and the overall user friendly enviorenment.

The LINK below is my first attempt at using this package. The new "Symetrik"
folder is my test subject. Let me know if you can't open the Pics.

I'm sure there are many other PIC options out there, and would like to hear about them.

Thank you Nick for such a wonderful site. Until a couple of months ago, I
didn't realize there were so many incredibly talented kayak builders. If more
people built boats, I'm sure there would be far less of the insanity we are
currently experiencing.

Cheers,

Tom
