I've been a lurker for some time in this forum, and after visiting Canoecopia last week, my wife and I finally decided to build our own boats (we have two whitewater kayaks, but we're thinking of starting also doing some sea kayaking in Lake Michigan and Lake Superior).

So, we've just ordered two Arctic Tern kits, an Arctic Tern 14 for my wife and an Arctic Tern 17 for myself. They should be here on March 24. Being that these are the first boats we're attempting to build, we're very excited/anxious/stressed. We hope to have them ready by June.

So, until the kits arrive, I'd like to check how other Terns were built. If you've built an Artic Tern, or know of a web page describing a Tern construction, could you please send me those links (or post them here) ?

I'll also appreciate any tip/advice on how to approach/start this construction and avoid common mistakes.
