Hi Brian,

Just a couple other notes on the issue. Use spreaders in both the deck and the hull except when your working on them. On my first boat during the fitting process the deck changed profile enough to cause the cut hacthes to no longer fit properly. USE SPREADERS I don't think it's to late.

When you get to the hull/deck fitup stage try the linked trick. This method works quite well.
