Other: Rudder help needed

I want to make my RBA rudder ready, in case I decide I need it for racing/fast paddling. I really don't care for rudders but this design may need one. I have epoxied a block of cedar into the stern to support the bolts.
My questions: Which store bought rudder is best for racing? What else should I do to get ready for a rudder before I mate deck-hull?
