Alomst done with stripping the deck, begining to firure out a veneer inlay for the kayak. I'm wondering, how about an "onlay"? The veneer seems thin enough to just epoxy to the deck, then glass/fill coat over it? Does this seem viable? I think I saw a leaf done this way on the deck of one of Rob's boats. I have regular veneer (constantine's sample pack) I will assemble the inlay on glass then tape together to transport to the boat. Am I all wet??
