Apologies for asking a canoe question on a kayak forum.

I have built a Guillemot (and very glad I did, as it has given me many hours of happiness!).

Now I am about to build Ted Moores Redbird canoe. Does anybody know how many feet of strips ( 3/4"" x 1/4", non-beaded) is required ? It is difficult to source cedar here in Ireland, and I want to make sure I buy sufficient to ensure the same colour throughout.
