Strip: Hull Photos (I think) *Pic*

Here's another shot at posting pictures. Another board participant volunteered to host them, and gave me the links. (I really need to learn how to use this computer moreso than I have).

As said before, the boat is Jay Babina's Outer Island (although these pics don't do justice to the lines of his design), the football is Cypress and the rest of the hull is WRC. The wet out is just with water, and for the purposes of getting an idea for the approximate colors when finished.

It's stapless, with the exception of a few here and there for reluctant strips. The hardest part for me was the accents around the football. I had lots of gaps that needed filling with cedar splinters, then a lot of fairing. It's noticable in the raw state, but once wet out (even with just water) they seemingly disappear unless you look real close.

It's mostly faired and sanded, in order to learn some more lessons about stripping before moving to the deck - and I'm glad I did, because fairing did teach me some lessons that can be put to good use when stripping the deck. Now, as soon as I get the ash exterior stems in place, I can flip it over and strip the deck!!!!
