Hi All,
This post has nothing to do with boats but as I've seen so many times the wealth of knowledge on this BBS is fantastic. Here goes. I'm trying to remember the name of a type of wood that gets used for making bearings. There is a wood that has natural oils that help lubricate in some bearing applications. The only place I have seen it myself is on an old single stage snow blower I had. I have a friend that has them in his old blower and can't find the parts anymore. Anybody know what the stuff is and a possible source?
