Strip: Sucking up the gaps *PIC LINK

Here's an idea in case any of you haven't thought of this yet.

I had a gap between a couple strips that was unacceptable. I had already glued on the next strip so tape wasn't going to make it come back together. I just glued on a couple of scraps to the outside and clamped them in place. I went to work on a different area, and came back to it an hour later. I just squirted some glue in the gap, sucked it up with a clamp, and went to bed. When I checked on it in the morning the glue held with no problem.

Later I took off one block with a spoke shave and one with a dremel with a drum sander attachment. Both ways worked great.

Go to http://photos.yahoo.com/fastmountainbiker click on the kayak folder and look for picture glue_blocks.
