Dear fellow addicts ~

Well, I finally got the start of a website up to detail some of the progress I've made building the Cirrus (for me) and a Merganser 16 (for Barb). They're both starting to come together. Next step: finish stripping the deck on the Cirrus, then epoxy and fiberglass both decks. I'm building the Merganser with 3mm okoume, 3/16" strips, and 4 oz s-glass, so I'm entertaining this delusion that it will be a sub-30lb. boat. Hmmmmmm. We'll see. I'm making heavy use of zip ties for strip clamping and assembly. It's been lot's of fun to see two very different boats take shape. Although the pic is distorted thanks to stitching two pics together, you can really see the difference between the two hulls...Cirrus in the background and Merganser in the foreground.
