Grant,
When comparing prices for your Okoume plywood, be sure to check the British Standards rating. The Windsor Plywood by my house (in the USA, but same Canadian chain store) has 4mil Okoume in 4x8 sheets and sells for about $40 American, but is not the BS-1088 grade. Even though it's slightly less quality, it's still a great wood to work with. Just want to make sure that while you're shopping for the best prices, you're comparing apples to apples.
SMF
: I am going to be in Vancouver for a few days over Christmas. I am about to
: start on my Cirrus S&G. The first purchase is Okoume plywood. So far
: Noah's in Toronto has the best price even after considering packaging and
: shipping.
: The local Windsor plywood shop has 4mm Okoume for ~$75 per sheet.
: Any hot tips on better prices in Vanocuver that I could pick up next week?
