: Thanks Daren
: That's a good idea.
: I have a very high ceiling, & I will try the same thing with block &
: tackle.
There have been many long term projects complete here on the board in the last couple of years. There was a 24 month Pygmy Tern, Shawn's Comorant, and others. My advise: Start on the boat now. When you can't work on it, move it out of the way (whether up, down, or other). When you can work on it, it is good therapy. My schedule is very busy: work 6 days, 2 kids under 5, the wife...... I finished the AT14 in about 5 months. It took me 5 more months to cut out the hatches, and right now the spacers and gaskets and bulkheads are in various stages of glassing and sanding in my shed. When I get a free moment, or NEED a free moment to work on the boat, I work on it a little. It may be sanding, glassing, or just loosing some time staring at it hanging from my garage. It's all necessary. The boat needs some gawking time too.
So start now if it is convienent. When it becomes less so, move it. But most important!!! keep us posted. Some of the best posts come from people who show up sporatically, busting out cool pics of their boats.
Just my .02
