I got ripples like that in a couple of places on the deck of Geyrfugl. They
were caused by squeegeeing too hard and stretching the glass cloth slightly.
I filled the weave with a single coat and did nothing else execpt being a
little careful when sanding not to go through the tops of the ripples. I
figured that they were on the deck, not the hull and wouldn't slow the boat
down, so why have kittens ?

No-one, absolutely no-one, notices these ripples unless I point them out.
Not even the judges in the craft section of my local agricultural show who
are only there to look for faults... the boat won the two pound first prize,
beating two really nice rugs into second and third place :-)
