Pagayeurs,

Do you always get as dry and brittle plywood from the store as I do? Not the end of the world but I need some squarer angles at connecting points (outer stations of folders) though my legs enjoy sanded inside edges, and my shoulders like the lightweight on portage.
I'm on 15mm (5/8") okoumé and I've discarded my power tool in favor of a hand jigsaw, 1 mm thick Suede steel. Is it too thick?
Otherwise, if dryness is the reason, I suspect that each lamination in a ply panel being so slim, it dries sooner than it should.
Hey, should I spray my panels? They'd check! The shop is very warm and dry (23° Centigrades).
Must we stitchers and folders rather count on sap as a substitute for water within wood cells? Pine ply I found such a poor sort! (Some safety issue there, btw.)
