A few days ago I posted an announcement about my stolen kayak. I haven't found it yet but I want to express my gratitude to all who have helped.

I got a response from Dave Grimmer at Pygmy Boats saying that he has posted the photos and told his staff to keep an eye out. This has been typical of the responses, and is especially meaningful since my boat isn't a Pygmy boat.

Matt at Mariner Kayaks remembered the boat from the boat show and has added to the information I sent,as well as his own description, to the stolen boat list. Again, my handmade kayak isn't a Mariner boat, but the generosity is still there.

I got a message back from John at NWOC expressing his concern and support. Dick Wagner of the Center for Wooden Boats called to offer his support and say that I just missed getting an announcement in their newsletter, but it would be in the next one.

I am proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply for its citizens. I can't begin to thank all of you but rest assured, I am very grateful for the help.
