S&G: Cormorant vs Chesepeake 16'

I'd like to build a 2nd boat for my wife and/or daughter, and would like any opinions and comparisons between these two designs. One of the girls is about 5'7", the other 5'9" and both run about 140#. Usage would be weekend touring (including overnights) on larger lakes and reservoirs, and on the Great Lakes as our skills increase (can't wait to see the Pictured Rocks!)BTW- when dealing with a table of offsets only, how do you derive the curved shapes on the ends of the bottom panels(side panels also, for that matter)?
