I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to stain yellow cedar without effecting the epoxy? In looking for wood, yellow cedar is much cheaper in my neck of the woods, but it doesn't look as nice-- can I stain it?? Will the epoxy be messed up? Would the stain fade because of U.V.

If you have any ideas/ experience please help.. Thanks!!!
