I had an email question about some of the rigging details on my new boat, so perhaps others may also be interested.

The deck bungies were taken from the Mariner Kayaks model. The edges for all rigging holes were sealed by bonding in sections of carbon/epoxy tube (Tap Plastics). The hatch pulls on the Liedy Lids are short sections of knotted bungie passed through holes in the hatches. Wood rings (shown in the image) accept the under-deck knots, and are filled with silicone sealant. The same method was used to seal the aft deck bungie ends, and the deck line ends.
