We got the kayak out today. Everything went well, no problems at all. I attached a line to the bow and stern, wrapped the bottom in carpet and eased her down on a ladder. It took about 5 minutes. The kayak is now in the foyer of the school on the ground floor ready for the trip. Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions yesterday.
