: John,

: I have just enterred this thread. I guess you have been told that Johnson's
: Paste Wax makes a good mold realease? I believe that JPW is a carnauba
: wax. This type is sold at auto stores. I use a Meguiars carnauba wax on my
: car. Meguiars also sells mold release waxes (Mirror Glaze #8 is one). I
: think that these are carnauba-based with additives to make them suitable
: for high-temperature cures. A good mold release is Poly-vinyl-alcohol
: (PVA). Most arts/crafts stores should have this.

: Jon

Jon is pva also what they use for binding books? the only pva they have at our local arts/craft store is used to bind books. I think I will go and buy some carnauba and do some tests

Thnx for your help
