I'm with you, except my "other projects" include a kitchen remodeling. After test demo'ing the SS at the beach gathering in June, it was on a very short Next Boat list. I ordered the instruction book ($25) and received it last week. In his very detailed instruction booklet Rob provides a template for the bow section and suggests several small projects that will save significant time in overall construction and won't take over the whole garage. Now maybe I can talk my wife into buying me the plans for the Shooting Star as a Christmas present.
