: Without a lecture on how okoume is better than Luan, I was wondering if
: anyone could shed some light on steam bending luan plywood for a cambered
: deck. Actually any bending method that results in a crack free luan deck
: would be great.

Going to want to do a boil test to insure the glue doesn't fail with the steam. Some glues of generic plywood are heat set and others are water soluable and the ply will just fall apart once heated. Just cut a small sample and boil on the stove in a pot of water for a few mintues to see.
