Thanks. The original version had less volume but I really wanted something with a little more leg room than my other kayaks. The only reason the sheer line was so high is that I wanted to keep the deck as flat as possible to make building a litte easier and make it easier to install beckson hatches. Would a higher sheerline cause any problems that a lower one would not?
