Book? What book? You mean the one that was thrown at me for speeding? (damned photo radar) Naw, have been exceedingly busy with work. I'm trying to get my renovation project finished so I can shut down the business and get some free time during the mornings. I work afternoon shifts (230-11 PM) and desperately want my mornings for paddling/writing/running/general doddling around. Another 1 1/2 weeks to go then I should be done. I haven't paddled since July, haven't worked on the VJ since I posted those hex-boron nitride photos (August?) and haven't done much of anything related to kayaking except watch the river freeze up from the bridge decks. The good news is that I am flying to Houston tonight and should land at the Bush Intl Friday morning. I'll stay in Houston for a couple of days then head over to Galveston where I will hang with Kurt Maurereerereer..er and Tony Olsen. Tony and Kurt are planning to outfit me for a wee kayaking bout..something about seeing how I would react when paddling around aligators. Do you think they are gonna video me while the gators are around...(disclaimer: I take no responsibility for what happens to any aligator that ventures too closely to my personal being). Hee! Hee! I am taking my digital caera with me and I will do a write up of the whole adventure. I wanna see if Kurt's fleet is bigger than it was last year (( boats or something like that).
