A drain with a float. *LINK*

In Response To: Strip: Venturi Drains (Mike Wolfson)

My Force 5 sail boat has a venturi with a float. It's a small ball in a cage that stops up the opening when the boat is ot moving fast enough. The Force 5 has a thin double hull but the venturi is small enough to fit in the bulb part that hangs below the boat. I think it might work. The link is to a drawing of the bailer and the site sells the parts. PS Check your race rules to be sure it's allowed.
