S&G: Hull and Deck from 60" fabric?

I'm building a stich and glue cirrus from one ocean kayaks and I want to use 4oz S-2 glass. I figure that the 4oz S glass will be the same strength as the regular 6oz but save me around 5 pounds overall. The only problem is that I can only find 4oz S glass in 60" width and the plans call for 4x the length of the kayak in 38" width.
Anyone know for sure if I can glass both the hull and deck inside and out from two lengths of 60" glass?
