Seeking: kayaks, museums, California

My wife and I are headed to California next week. We're gong to visit relatives
in San Diego and Porterville. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a
museum(s) displaying old sof kayaks? Google hasn't been any help so
far. I feel like I should do something kayak related while I"m there. :)
