thets what i meant when i said wrapped and used like any other ferrule, youll likely find small ones with not a lot of space in between nodes in that case keep the node in the middle, one end is fixed (push all the way to the node dont leave empty room) the other its the pull out half.
Instead of sinew you can use cane, the one used for seats, although you better use gloves then.
