It's coming along. A few snags. It's getting cold, so the epoxy is curing slowly. I was trying to heat it up and got some air bubbles on the inside hull that will have to be sanded out or filled.

The deck is looking nice. There's going to be plenty of room for size 11 feet. The rear deck wasn't so great, so I had to do a few modifications while building. That will have to be changed on the computer model.

I compared this kayak to my Romany and the Romany has much more volume, but still I think there will be plenty of room for camping out of the Iggy.

I've also decided on final finishing. I'm going to run a fiberglass keel strip and one inch seam tape on the outer seams. These will be dyed black, so the boat will be very dark and skin-like. The blood red dye is cool, because in the shadow it looks almost black and in the sun it looks a deep red. Nice.
