I tried it with an onshore wind of about 15, whitecaps, and two foot waves cresting somewhat higher at the point. It was great. I was messing around the local point where the current swirls. I don't remember any issues other than how much fun I was having riding the waves. Worked well getting on a freighter wake on different day.
