you can do it but read well the label, not all sprays are the same stuff.

Aside from that if you use to precoat the hull you can simply have the tacky coat do the work, in both cases its better for you to drape the cloth first, get references and then precoat or spray etc, otherwise youll end or with a ton of waste or with a big headache trying to move sticky stuff around.
