Hi all,

On the single I'm building, I am making the cockpit coaming riser out of 1/8" plywood, to be laminated with 6 oz glass on both sides, then another layer of glass over the hardwood coaming top. Does anybody know if one layer of the 1/8" ply will be strong enough? If not, I could double it up, but I would rather save the weight if I can.
