i unexpectedly have off till Wednesday (thanks to a couple of lazy clients), so i thought i would build a SOF kayak. the mini-benny is almost done, so i dont feel too guilty about two-timing on her for a few days...

does anyone know where i can find the plans online for a simple SOF? i have ordered a book but it wont be here till late Monday and i want to get started on it tonight... i am 5'11", 180 lbs, shoe sz 10.5(US), so i figure a 17 ft long, 20 in beam would work for me but i am open to any suggestions. i also like the method of doing the skin in two pieces so there is not a seam on the deck, but beggars cant be choosers, so i will appreciate any help anyone wants to give.

i did do a search and am continuing to do so, but i have not really found anything detailed enough for me to actually start the build.
