Thanks for the info Andy - you're right, that's a *lot* less than I was fearing. I'll look into it.

A paddling holiday would indeed be great there - but June would be the time to do it. I'm rather hoping that most of the water will be in its solid phase at Christmas, and I can get some good ice skating trips in...

On another subject, don't know if you've seen my brief write up of my new S&G, but I'm really happy with it so far and it does sound like it might be roughly what you were looking for as a club boat / Anas substitute. You got any trips planned for the rest of the year?
