Of all the boats I've 'drooled' over, the NightHeron probably tops the list (and there are a lot of nice designs out there). I suspect it's from the reviews - when folks say it's 'fast', they don't say it once - it's 'fast, fast, fast!". Of course, mine would have a mighty small motor, and I'm pretty sure it needs rings and valves....

I'm not much of a woodworker (though the spirit is willing). With your skills and background, it oughta be a beauty as well as a performer.
