I've just spent 4 weeks touring BC with my brand new W30 and it's great. It's waterproof so rain, waves, sunlotion, beer etc. didn't harm it at all.
It's small, starts up fast and has aplenty different seetings. Excellent quality holiday-pictures, but the autofocus is a bit slow, so if you like action shots, go get a SLR plus u/w housing.
