S&G: Bigger Point Bennett Sea Kayak *LINK* *Pic*

In the past, I've had a few people tell me they'd like to build a Point Bennett, but they weighed more than my recommended paddler weight of 150 to 180 pounds. Well, a bigger Point Bennett is now available. My friend Dave Houser increased all the lofting numbers by 3.04%, making it 18 feet long and 21.5 inches wide. He built it, has paddled it some, and estimates that the PB18 can handle paddlers up to 6'4" tall and 220 pounds. Just to be on the safe side, I'm recommending it for paddlers up to 6'2" tall and 210 pounds.
