Strip: Mystery : to C&B or not ?

Just opened my set of plans for the Mystery (high excitement level) and I'm questioning whether to use my standard (1/8" radius) cove & bead set for this boat - or just bevel my WRC strips.

For the Mystery, Nick suggests 3/16" hull strips and 1/8" deck strips. I may just up these by 10% (to 5 mm and 3.5 mm - adds 1 pound), but they are still substantially thinner than the normal 1/4" strips. Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of C&B here ?

Also, any words of wisdom on the advantages of C&B on the various Guillemot hull shapes ? Some of the hulls have lots of compound curves and some have simpler shapes...
