It would be simple enough with S&G. Just need a standard set of dimensions for the identicle fore and aft bulkheads. Put a decent amount of beam on it. Make each section 6 feet or so long. Doubles could be longer. Have a standardized bolting system to attach them. Build 1 bow and one stern and there you go.

If you figure bow and stern to be 5 feet each. We would need 15 single mid sections to make a boat 100 feet long. I could see this at Meet At The Beach or R2K5.

Is it worth considering? Should paddle good and smooth and fast but rolling may be a bit tricky.
