I built my Minnie-Miss using the procedure outlined in my previous post and I varnished it with Canadian Tire Armor Coat Spar Varnish. I find this varnish is too yellow and I prefer using Epifanes. Anyway, this boat was left outside in full Baie-St-Paul sunlight exposure all of last summer and all of this summer and it is still in great condition although quite amber because of the varnish. I have built 4 boats so far using this method and they are holding up just fine.
