I'm takling Elmers - the stuff the kids glue beads to construction paper with. I don't know if it would work with woodworker's glue or not - though I suspect that it would.

Don't get too worked up about the technique - it's not the strongest bond you'll ever see. But for a quick, easy way to get things to stay in one place - the place you want them at that - it's a good technique.
