I have been ask to lead some groups on 1-2 day kayak trips in a month. They will be inexperienced. I think my best option based on time and budget is to aquire some platic double or possibly triple boats that are wide enough to be stable. This will allow for better crowd control and the ability to balance strong paddlers with not so strong paddlers. I can complement the doubles with singles I currently own (although I am not sure how well a single will keep pace with a double)I have no experience with doubles at all. If this works it could become an annual event and I may build some doubles. This is part of a longer story I will explain later. Can anyone make suggestions on any particular boats based on your experince or good sources for boats. The boats will be on slow rivers and lakes. Thank you in advance
