San Javier Kayaks

Has anyone built a kayak from San Javier of Berkeley CA? I am intrigued by their design, but have not been able to find any real-life experiences by actual builders. I am considering their 18' "Single", but would like to see and especially paddle one first. Meanwhile any first-hand experience with one of their boats would be useful information.
